Das Wachstum des programmatischen Handels hat dazu geführt, dass der Kauf und Verkauf von Anzeigen weitgehend automatisiert wurde, und es ist sogar möglich, große Teile des kreativen Prozesses ebenfalls zu automatisieren.

Doch sobald die Anzeigen erstellt sind, bleibt die scheinbar einfache Aufgabe, Videodateien zu verwalten und zwischen Kreativagenturen, Medienagenturen und Verlegern/Sendern zu übertragen, für viele in der Branche ein großes Ärgernis. Es ist weiterhin ein sehr manueller, zeitaufwändiger und fehleranfälliger Prozess.

VideoWeek Pulse führte eine Umfrage unter 101 Agenturen, Verlegern und Sendern durch, um herauszufinden, welche Erfahrungen sie mit dem Management von kreativen Assets gemacht haben. 

Änderungen kosten wertvolle Zeit

Sowohl Agenturen als auch Verleger berichteten, dass das einfache Vornehmen von Änderungen an einem kreativen Werk die Verbreitung von Kreativinhalten auf den Anfang des Prozesses zurücksetzt. 

Wenn ein Verleger beispielsweise mit einer Medienagentur zu tun hat und die Datei nicht funktioniert, muss er der Medienagentur Bescheid sagen, die dann zur Kreativagentur zurückgeht, die dann eine neue Version der Datei an die Medienagentur zurückschicken muss, die dann zum Verleger zurückgehen muss. All dies hängt von den Reaktionszeiten und der Verfügbarkeit der beteiligten Personen ab.

Nicht weniger als 63 Prozent der Verleger und 51 Prozent der Agenturen sagten, dass Änderungen an einem kreativen Werk den gesamten Verbreitungsprozess auf den Anfang zurücksetzen.

Dateiübertragungen bleiben ein Problem

Sogar grundlegende Aufgaben wie das Hochladen, Herunterladen oder Anzeigen von Videodateien sind weiterhin mit häufigen technischen Problemen belastet, was sowohl für Agenturen als auch für Verleger kleine Frustrationen und Verzögerungen hinzufügt.

Siebenunddreißig Prozent der Verleger berichteten über Probleme beim Herunterladen oder Anzeigen einer Videodatei ein paar Mal pro Woche, während 27 Prozent der Agenturen angaben, diese Probleme ein paar Mal pro Woche zu haben.

Unwirksame Lieferung verursacht häufige Verzögerungen

Unwirksame Lieferung von kreativen Inhalten verursacht häufige Verzögerungen bei Kampagnen für Verleger, was sich negativ auf die Einnahmen auswirkt. Zweiundvierzig Prozent der Verleger sagen, sie erleben Verzögerungen, wenn es darum geht, kreative Inhalte „ein paar Mal pro Woche“ zu erhalten.


Mangelhafte Qualität der Lieferung ist das häufigste Problem

Sowohl für Agenturen als auch für Verleger sagen 35 Prozent der Befragten, dass die schlechte Qualität der Lieferung das häufigste Problem ist, das sie bei der Lieferung digitaler Videoanzeigen erleben. Es ist auch ein häufiges Problem, dass Assets nicht geliefert werden und erneut gesendet werden müssen, wobei 35 Prozent der Verleger und 29 Prozent der Agenturen sagen, dass dies ihr größtes Ärgernis ist.
