Un'opportunità per emittenti e editori

Regno Unito, Stati Uniti, Brasile e India sono solo alcuni dei paesi che terranno elezioni quest'anno. Queste nazioni, che ospitano più della metà della popolazione mondiale, vedranno oltre quattro miliardi di cittadini recarsi alle urne. 

Secondo GroupM (Guardian, 2024), saranno spesi un record di 15,9 miliardi di dollari in pubblicità politica solo negli Stati Uniti nel 2024, con un aumento di oltre il 30% rispetto al ciclo elettorale 2019-2020. Il mercato delle pubblicità politiche negli Stati Uniti è diventato così grande che, l'anno prossimo, è previsto che diventi il decimo più grande al mondo, superando tutta l'Australia.

Specifiche sfide sulla qualità delle pubblicità per le campagne politiche

Sebbene la pubblicità politica possa essere redditizia, sappiamo dai nostri clienti che presenta alcune sfide specifiche. 

Come tutte le Pubblicità, le pubblicità politiche devono seguire le consuete linee guida e specifiche di emittenti e editori. Tuttavia, possono includere messaggi falsi, infiammatori o inappropriati, il che rende ancora più importante la revisione e la determinazione di ciò che viene effettivamente servito agli utenti.
